Pinpoint are exhibiting, for the first time, at the Emergency Services Show . It is the UK’s largest event for the emergency services, The Emergency Services Show returns to the NEC, in Hall 5, Birmingham on Wednesday 18 to Thursday 19 September.

Predator Rescue Pack

Pinpoint is a distributor for KPM Marine. KPM recently have developed their Predator Rescue Pack, the core of which is our Predator Pump which we have supplied for over 10 years to the Marine sector. We have over 4,000 Predators in use all over the world, typically used as Bilge and Emergency pumps in Workboats, smaller Naval Craft and Amphibious Troop Carriers. The pump uses a 450 watt motor, in both 12 and 24 volt DC variants, and will deliver more than 180 litres per minute at a 3 metre head. The pump also has unequalled reliability, to the point that boat owners include our pump in their specification wherever in the world their vessels are being built.

The pump’s attributes, coupled with a weight below 9kg, has allowed it to be used in “portable” mode. On several occasions one boat has helped out another by pulling alongside the boat in distress and assisting with the KPM500 Predator pump. Now KPM have found that a lightweight battery was the optimal solution; hence the system that we now offer –lightweight, rugged, powerful pumping.

The aim of exhibiting at ESS is to learn of new applications from the search and rescue organisations and first responders.
